Help with upgrading my Saab stereo

Well Saab sends all the audio through fiber optic cables to 2 amps and then the amps send the sounds to the speakers. Since all the frequency ranges are split by the amps I wanted to tap the speakers after the amps and run my own amps to much better speakers.

How bad will the sound quality be if it will even be bad at all.
