help with type r's

i am going to get 2 12" type r's but need an amp to decide whether get them to wire at 1 or 2 ohm.. and i herd the type r's need like 700 watts rms from the amp to really sound good even tho they are only 500 watts.. so iam not sure.. i was looking at Phoenix Gold R15.0:1 or the Alpine MRD-M1005 but idn if thats enough power or if what i herd was wrong.. or the Hifonics BXi 1206D or even the Hifonics BXi 1606D... any suggestions would be helpful and i havent even started looking into boxes..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
