Help with TV purchase please...

Looking to get a new TV, definantly want HD capability and im leaning towards either lcd or projection. Want a Tv that will last, atleast 42" and an overall good picture. Will probably wait until black friday to try and snag a deal, but was trying to do some research and looked on buy.com. I actually found a few tvs that meet my criteria, but a lot of them are refurbs, not sure how i feel about that..

according to bfads.net this tv is already discounted to just under 1000 at walmart..

dont buy from walmart..... they have sub companies make there electronics then pay out name brands to use them.......... main reasonw hy there so much cheaper. so dont buy from walmart to save a few dollars

If you have a Conn's check them out, I picked up a 42" couple years ago HD ready for 799. It was a Mitsubishi brand.

and i think it is pretty good, its not the same size you want, but i havent had any problems with this model (my friend has an aquos i believe and it has the same gui on the menus as this tv, so they may be sister companies or something)

I didn't know you could get 52" wide screen tv's for under a grand these days. That's dope.

Yea, pretty sweet if you ask me, my girl is getting me a 360 for X-mas so i need to be prepared, figure this would be the best time, and walmart offers a 0% interest for 12 months, plenty of time for me to pay it off.
