help with system

I recently purchased a new car I would like to add a system to it but I have no idea what I should buy.I dont want to spend more then $800. I dont want to much bass but enough and being able to hear the music is a must Thanks guys!!

already have

alpine 505 h/u, kicker 750.1, L5 solo-baric but it doesnt fit in the trunk

your L5 doesn't fit? What size is it? The L5/L7 are great budget amps. Try building another box that will fit, it shouldn't need that much space. That 750.1 will be a good match for it.

From there invest in a kicker 400.2, some good comps and power wire and your good to go

Depending on how much money you have left for them, you have plenty of choices.

Pheonix Gold RSD comps are probably the best bang for the buck right now at $80-$90 shipped. and there's a pioneer set at ~$120

For the $100-$200 range you have the RE RE 6.5 Component set at ~$150-$180 (http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=4927) and also the Image Dynamics CTX65CS (http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6201)

Plenty of options, I personally would go for the RE or ID components if you can make it to that price.
