Help with subwoofer selection

Hey guys, im looking to get into systems with my 02 trailblazer and need some opinions.

my old system was a 15" Fi BTL off of 4kw that hit a 148.3db @45hz sealed up on the dash, with a termlab, in the back of a trunk car so im not new to big systems

I've been torn with my trailblazer because I don't know if I wanna go with SPL or SQ but im throwin these two setups out there, let me know what you think

1) Two 15" Fi Q's in a 8 Cube Net box tuned to 32hz ran off 2500ish watts rms between the two of them

Or

2) One 18" Fully loaded Fi BTL in a 10 cube box tuned @ 38hz ran off 3000ish watts RMS

Which do you think would be better?

Obviously the Qs are going to sound a lot better and get lower

Im hoping with the increased cone area of two 15"s versus one 18" it'll help in the SPL department although im pretty confident that the BTL would still be the louder choice, any suggestions?

With anything over a 15 in your truck, you probably aren't looking for SQ. Both of those are overkill IMO. I'm working with one 10" ported in my trailblazer, and apart from some minor tuning issues, I get plenty of sound...then again, I am a noob.

anything with over 350wrms in a blazer gets loud. now 2-3k is loud as piss (ive never been in a car with that much power but i could imagine).

personally, my next setup will be SQ oriented. ive just been bored with being loud. doesnt take much to get loud , while it does take alot more tuning , trial/error , time , etc to get a great sounding system.

if you are competing , ignore the above.

if you are set on those two , id go for the 15" q. i liked mine when i had it off 1kw in 3.8 @ 30 hz.
