Help with subwoofer plan

You are going to want a better amp for those. You are going to need electrical upgrades, new head unit, wiring, so much stuff that you don't think about from the shop and are you taking this to a shop or are you doing this all by yourself?

The amp may be okay if just running one of those subs, but the amp will have to be run at 0.5ohm to get 3k watts. I can't find a dyno on the amp but the guts look decent. It seems strange to me to buy a $300 amp for a $850 sub. I've always spent more on my amps than subs, but maybe that isn't always the case?

Either way, if running that amp at 0.5 ohm, a good electrical system will be needed (0 gauge ofc, big 3, second battery in the back, H/O alt etc.) which tends to get expensive.

Thanks for the replies, I was planning on doing it with my father, how much do the shops normally do it for? And also what amp would you recommend for that sub?

Soundrive has an amp on sale that would probably be decent with one of those 15s, AL3500 I believe it is.

i wouldn't grab that deaf bounce. with 3kw you can get a ton of better woofers for that power.. the MMS is nearly 600 grams.. your gonna need 5kw to push it to its potential.

I seen them at world finals. Beast of a woofer. Omari here is doing a build with 6 18s of them in his Tahoe... Altimate automotive is doing the build.

that amp isn't so hot.. but id imagine it would work for around a 2kw sub..i know that US acoustic amp is abit expensive but they are VERY VERY good amps.

Sweet thank you guys for the help and the recommendations, im fairly new to these sizes of amps/subs, is there anything else ill have to get to run this size of amps? Where I live its pretty uncommon for people to have subs, let alone subs of this power, so is there any online source i can use to learn about this type of stuff?

Yeah a 240-350amp alternator and like 3 3100 batts to run the us acoustics amp... That sound stream and Bevla would be fine with a HO alt and one 3100batt.
