help with subwoofer decision

I have a 2001 ram 2500 quad cab diesel and am currently running a single jl10w6v1 dual 4 ohm to a mtx rt1000d in a sealed downfiring box that replaces the seat under the center console. The website i got the box from has the box listed at .95 cubic foot.

My question is i have been looking at doing like a treo ssi 10, sundown sa10. But now i have been kicking the idea around about doing 2 sa8's or american bass 8's.

What are your opinions?

w6v1's have dual 6 ohm coils, just fyi.

i bought it off craigslist and had no way of getting a reading of the coils and assumed it was dual 4, thanks for the info!

i was just wondering if one way would work better with that kind of air space?

maybe just a single 8 in a bigger ported box is whats needed
