Hi this is my first post... i have a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse gs, and i put in this head unit a while back http://www.kenwoodusa.com/KDC-MP638U. Now im looking to buy subs that will beat hard, but are not too expensive.

I was looking at getting these subs:

and one of these amps:

I want to be heard from a distance and rattle the hell out of my car. My question is would this be a good setup for my car and that for praice range, is the box that these are in good, and are those amps a good match for those subs?

I am trying to sell my 12" PG xenon's. They will rattle the hell out of most cars, and arent too expensive.

Get a 1000w amp, and they will make your ears bleed. I am currently running them off of 300w each, and they hit hard.

I was hoping i could buy a package with subs and a box like that kicker one because i dont know anything about boxes and would probably pick a bad one i want to spend about 300 on subs and a box. The kenwood is already installed so im stuck with it, but why is it bad?

I have both of those subs, a nice box, a cap, and all the wiring for the box. I will sell the whole thing for 300. Note: does not include the amp.

He does not mean the head unit, he means the kenwood amp.

LOL, must sound really good if they cause ear bleeding

All you would need to do is plug the speaker wires into the amp, run some RCA cables and the other wires from the front and plug them in. They are 2 ohm subs, and your amp puts out 900w into 2 ohms.

I wouldent need it i just didnt see that it wasnt included. How old are they? What amp would run them to their fullest?

What about those kicker L5's?

Sorry about all the questions i just want to make sure i do the right thing cause i wont be able to afford another system if i buy one and dont like it.

They are about 2 years old. I only had them installed and running with power flowing to them for about 6 months total. I never really played them crazy loud.

Find an amp that puts out 1000w @ 2 ohm. That would be the perfect amount of power. Make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing to set the gains.

I have not used the kicker l5, so I will not comment here.

No big deal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you want to come down to KC some weekend, you can try these out in your car and see if you like them.
