2 12" Subs in a box in trunk, rear firing
current box is a QLogic vented one, but will be building one to replace it
Anyway, here's the question: What do I do with the spare tire and jack? I have to travel somedays with my car for work, which is nice since I now have a system, but if I were to need the jack (and/or spare tire), it would be a pain to get to. I could push my current box a little into the car after folding the rear seats down, enough to get to the tire, but with the next box I think it will be a little too big for that. I'm kind of wondering what everyone else does. Do most of you just toss the spare? Granted, answers from people out of school and who possibly use their vehicle for work would be a little more beneficial. I'm a network technician and have to carry computers and other equipment at times. Sometimes I travel 200 miles in a day, maybe once every few months. My current box covers about half of the spare tire cover, which flaps and vibrates horribly (temporarily - some foam fixing that), making it tough to get into if the need did arise. Just looking for ideas from what you all do/think...
