help with settings

so i have a cerwin vega exl 1000d.. i believe its 1000 at 2ohm. i dont understand the settings on the amp.. need some help comprehending them.

what are my options at 'stereo'? 'bridged'? and 'mono'?

this is how the other side looks. now bridged it says 2 ohm min.. but per side it says 1 ohm min.. does that mean i can wire my subs down to 1ohm per terminal? combined with two subs would be 2 ohm? im totally lost.

if someone could help me, thatd be koo..

i am prett sure you wire one sub to one ohm to a channel then the same for the other channel puts the amp at 2 ohm

i wish i had a manual. the amp was passed down to me. and the manual on the site doesnt say much. see what i was thinkin was.. usually if you wire one sub at 2 ohm to each side.. it was drop it down to 1 ohm right?... but on this amp it says 1 ohm min.. on each.. so that would drop it down to .5 right?... but the specs say its only stable at 2 ohm.

class d i believe.. and dual 4 are the subs.. i was gonna run them only at 4ohms.. but then i saw the settings stuff on the amp.. maybe reconsider. one more thing.. there is a light next to the power light on the amp that says 1 ohm mode... could that possibly mean that the amp is stable at 1 ohm?

oh lol if its a class d amp it moslty likely is one ohm stable. im pretty sure it is. it is just saying at 2 ohms it does 1kw at one ohm it will do more most likey but some amps very few put out more at higher ohms i don't think that is one of them

YOUU should be able to wire down to one ohm on that amp like this

ok.. so i guessi can parallel each sub down to 2 ohm.. on each side and that should give a 1 ohm load to the amp. and if the amp isnt stable it should shut down and protect correct?

at the mono setting.. i can just plug in each woofer to each terminal set right?
