Ok heres the deal. my side gig is doing alright and is paying the bills, but i am looking to pick up a full-time job also so i can start saving up to by my uncles land in north florida.

but i never finished high school (dropped out in 11th grade). Before you jump to conclusions my father became disabled and due to some poor choices on his part could not collect disability. That is when i dropped out to start working at the local grocery.

Im trying to figure out how to form a resume that will get the possible employer mind of the fact of me not graduating. I have experience with welding, carpentry, HVAC, Cross country transport (cars, truck's and motorcycles) etc etc. My have knowledge and scattered experience in many fields.

My first step is to get my GED in 6-7 months. only thing that is stopping me now is that the course teacher is my X-girlfriends mother.

Any helpful tips on some key points or format to forming a resume that will get me considered would be greatly appreciated.

wells its a resume so dont put in any school info. i asume you know the basic format of a resume. just put your goals, job experiance, skills, personal interests, stuff like that. get them to like you when they read it. be sure to talk to whoever is in charge of hiring. ask about the job and maybe make a little small talk. make him like you.

Lie on the resume. Put down that you have your ged, 9 times out of 10 they never ask for it..nor will they look for it in a background check..i also hope you have way with words..i made a clothing store gig sound like a fortune 500 job //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It would help us greatly to help you if you gave us an idea of what job you're looking to get.

Many jobs require at least a highschool diploma as a minimum before you are even considered.

What are you looking to do?
