Help with remote wire

Bought a PAC harness but the remote wire does not seem to be working for whatever reason. The amp will not turn on when this remote wire is hooked up but if I run a wire directly to the ACC fuse it works, so I know its something with the remote wire coming from the harness. Is there any way to splice into a particular wire so I can run my amp, like a cigarette lighter wire? I don't want a wire twisted around a fuse, to me seems unsafe and ghetto.

Its a stock Navi acura and i'm bypassing the oem amp with this PAC harness to get rca outputs and the harness comes with the remote wire. Heres a pic of the harness.

Test if you have voltage at the harness, could just be a loose connection

Lol There's your problem, take it back and exchange it for a new 1 then let us kno how everything goes.
