help with "buzzing sound"

hey i have a ps2 hooke dup to my avic n1 in dash navigational cd player head unit and when i use the AV funtion to displayt he ps2 i always get a buzzing sound along with the noise and music of the game. this buzzing sound someone told me is engine noise interfeering with the ps2 and someone else told met hat its because my ps2 is on carpet and not on metal in my car.

any suggestions?

yes, only when the ps2 is going

Are you sure the rca cables are connected securely?

yes, does it have anything to do with RCA wire extrensions or maybe engine noise? thanks for the help

most likely a grounding issue.. is your power inverter grounded or able to be grounded?
