Help with ported box

Guys, Im trying to get in order a good slot ported box. I have been using re's but wanted some double checking. My woofers recommend in a small ported box to be 1.6 tuned to 35 hz, or the optimum ported is 2.1 36hz. I cant really do that large because of space. I was wanting to go around 3.50 cu ft internal. Max width is 35" height 15 and depth is 17. With a slot port 3" wide and 13.25 lenght its got 40.5. Is that enought. I have considered just using 4" pvc port because it will take a lot less internal cu ft. Can I get some options or knowledge please?

sorry, 2.1 per woofer I have 2 12's. my bad i was in a rush. :crazy

I have heard that the one on re's website is not that correct on the feq. of the port. I have bass box art home my my pc is down and I will not be able to recover the hard drive.

ok guys I downloaded winisd and looked at the difference in a 3.5 and 3.0 cu ft box. Not even 1 db difference. I may split the difference and do like 3.3. The only question now is what to tune it to. They recommend 36 hz, round port. I dont know how much cu/ft. to take off for each subwoofer, maybe .10 per woofer? A slo port with a 3" opening and 13.5len. and depth will take up like .4 cu ft inside. It says its 37.5 port area. Is that enough? Is it better to just go with a 2 4" pvc ports becase thet will not take up as much?
