help with ported box for 2 woofers

should i build 2 seperate chambers and have 2 ports, or build 1 chamber with 1 port?

personally one chamber / one port > two chambers / two ports.

one port and you know the box is tuned where you want it. with two chambers/two ports the smallest difference in port will start changing tuning freq by .00031267... etc hz. sides, greater net volume without the divide.

okay. thanks. does the port length change tho? compared to the same box with 1 woofer, then i add another woofer.

the only thing that changes about a box when you add a second woofer is the fact that you have to deduct the second woofer's displacement from the net volume of the box. a woofer box's tuning will change SLIGHTLY with the addition of the second driver, but probably not enough for you to notice.
