Help with my crossover points...

Hi, I have mids and tweeter i need help on the crossover points...

the mids frenquency response is 60-20KHz

The tweeters frenquency response is 1.4-24KHz

what would be the best crossover points?

Its hard to determine without knowing specs of the drivers...frequency response graphs and the tweeter's FS are good indications to give you a solid foundation...it is also VERY dependent on the install...

Usually if I don't have these things then I start with around 3.5khz for the tweeter and woofer then go from there...

that doesn't mean much. the mids will not cleanly play up to 20k. no way.

and just because the tweeters response is 1.4k-24 doesn't mean they will play cleanly down to 1.4k either. what is the fs of the tweeter?

well i would choose different tweeters. they don't publish the FS spec so you have nothing to really go off of. well i guess you could guess....

why did you choose those tweeters?

most 6.5" mids should be good up to at least 2k maybe as high as 4-5k on certain ones. personally, i'd rather not have mids play that many octaves though.
