I just got some Focal 165v2s components an i have them installed in the doors running of a older alpine 4 channel amp which i got bridged so it's pushing about 60-70 watts a channel i think and i wanted to know if i should get a 2 channel kicker 350.2 zx amp or should i deaden the doors first

I would add some deadning to the doors

The would really come alive if they had 80+ watts on them..

I'd Check Ebay for a Zapco Refrence 350 awsome amp that prolly gose for the same amount you plan on spending..

Peace Troy

I'm putting the exact same set in my Liberty tomorrow. Based on my previous experience with Focal, I highly suggest deadening the hell out of the doors and feeding each door at least 80 watts like Troy said.

Once you start giving them real power, the midbass is really outstanding which is where a properly deadened door comes into play.

I'll be running 150 to each and the Focals really do come alive at 80+ watts and over.

You shelled out the cash for a nice set of comps, now do them right with a good install. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
