help with my alpine 7892 and some sugestions

hey guys i need your help. i have an older alpine 7892 and im wondering if upgrading it will give me better sound.it seems no matter what speakers and amps i still seem to have some noise.i am useing some twisted rca's but have a set of memphis 5 channel rcas on the way.

amp is a big memphis belle 1300 and the speakers are mb quart premiums with there new wide sphear tweets and some mb mids just for rear fill.

i have had this hu for a long time and it has never had that great of sound quality even when i just used to use the internal amp in another car to power the speakers.

i would like to get a new hu but i want some thing that has an eq and a usb hook up and xm. i have been looking at the eclipse 3200 and the kenwood excelon x691(not shure if thats the exact model#)

what could it be?

there are other makers that might be a better choice like jvc, or the ever loved pioneer.
