Help with me alpine Iva-w205 and tr-7

i just bought an alpine iva-w205 today

ive been tryin like crazy to get to the menu for seting up display and time but when i click on setup it just shows Audio....do i need the remote to get to these settings...i need to set the time and brighten up this screen

also i have the tr7 and its lighting up red (on)

does anyone know how to install the tr7 can someone make it simple for me i think this may be the reason i cant see all the menus
