Whats up forum. As title says i need help identifying a subwoofer. What was given to me was a rockford fosgate HE2 ffs1224 its the 12 inch with the fast and furious logo on it. I've searched google and other online places and have gotten nothing. Any help please just want to know if they're worth putting in a set up.

Thanks.

Fairly standard rockford fosgate subs for the time they came out
Other than the fact that they have the F+F on them they are decent subs
If you use a ported box they should sound good
Need an amp that will run 1000-1200 watts @ 1 ohm
  • Size: 12 inch
  • Power Handling (RMS) - 400 Watts each
  • Power Handling (Peak) - 800 Watts each
  • 4 ohm Dual Voice Coil Configuration
  • Voice coil: 2.5" Aluminum Material
  • Polypropylene Cone Material
  • Steel Stamped Frame Material
  • BART Foam Surround Material
  • Sensitivity - 86 db
  • Vas - 2.94
  • Fs - 27
  • Qts - .59
  • Xmax - .51
  • Dimensions:
    • Depth Bottom mount - 6-5/16 in.
    • Cutout - 11-1/8 in.
    • Screw holes - 8
  • Sealed Box Recommendations:
    • Recommended Minimum Volume (Cubic Feet) - .65
    • Recommended Maximum Volume (Cubic Feet) - 1.75
  • Ported Box Recommendations:
    • Recommended Volume (Cubic feet) - 1.25
    • F3(Hz) - 35

They had issues with sagging over time as well iirc those and the HX version. But they are nice subwoofers though, I would consider a purchase of them or the HX and have them rebuilt for an old school build with no issues. There is a guy on Facebook that does awesome Rockford rebuilds on those but I can't remember his name and he is always backed up. He makes them better then new and his pricing is worth every penny.
