Help with Infinity Gold Amp

My stock Infinity Gold Amp has failed in my '94 Grand Cherokee. I have

heard that I can by-pass it so that the head unit will use its amp. I

understand that one can connect the solid blue wire to the blue/white on

the smaller plug on the amp to do this. My question is, assuming that

the plugs are left in the amp. do I cut these two wires and splice them

together or just run a wire from the blue to the blue/white?

Thank you for your help.

Bypassing isnt as easy as connectiong one wire.... if theres not a kit made to do this on your car this is how the run of the mill bypass works

There are two plugso n most of these amps.... one is the input plug one ifs the output plug... by jumping between the plugs must have correct wires) you effectively bypass the amp.

Or the longer but less technical way...... running all the speaker lines brand new.
