i have an amp that will push 242 watts x 2 into 2 ohms or 477.4 watts x 1 into 4 ohms what are some good tens in this power range i was looking at JL but the only ones they have are the W1 series thanks for any advice

How much airspace do you have available?

Looking for SQ, or just as loud as possible with that power?

probly no more than $175 a piece

not sure on air space but i have a box that is about 3' long maybe 12" tall (havent measures it yet)

what exactly is the diff in SQ and as loud as possible i guess i want both i want it to be loud and sound good

Where's the 3rd measurement?

Meaure everything and report back.

SQ setups are geared towards musical accuracy, with the front speakers adjusted to be realistically balanced with the subs. A good SQ system will still get quite loud, but just won't have the exaggerated bass of a typical bass-head setup.

You don't have to supply a sub with its rated RMS for it to perform well, BTW.
