Help with Budget Home Theater Audio for Room

Well, you can do a lot better than that model of B&W subwoofer.

I would honestly suggest getting a Dayton Audio Kit or just building your own.

The setup that I gave was 'MSRP' pricing. You can sometimes talk the dealer down a little bit. Of if you are lucky you could find some DM601/2 Series 3 equipment for A LOT cheaper. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I know a lot of people would go a lot of different ways. Some people DIY, some people buy other brands, but I am very confident with the B&W equipment and have always been happy with everything that I have owned. Which is why I recommend it so much.

I'd like to stay away from building my own. Are the DM601/602 older model series? I just checked online to see if any local B&W dealers near me, there's one and I went to there website and it says

B&W 685 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker 300$ for 1

B&W 686 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker 225$ for 1

Were the prices u listed for a pair msrp or for 1?

I'm going to have to stop by to see the prices in store and to listen to some.

Price I listed was for a pair... Hence PR...

The DM601/2 S3 was the prior series to the 685/6 S4.

there is some planar speakers at best buy isnt there? what brand are those?

Edit... best buy had martin logan electrostatic transducer speakers, thats what i was thinking of. They sounded nice if i remember right.

check out ebay dude, there are often gooood deals on there, and you can still buy new with a warranty half the time.
