Help with best possible box for 2 12'' L7s, lots of power and space availible.

I am helping a friend do a new box for his blazer so he can throw away his crappy prefab.

He has 2 12'' L7s(2006 I think) and a HUGE 3000watt mono Powerbass amp that apparently does its rated 3000 wrms according to discussion on this forum.

Kicker say 3.25 cuft per 12 sub which is hard for me to believe. He for sure has the space for a 6.5 cuft box, I am just wondering if you guys think it is too big...

And tuning....... We really want to erupt the lows with his setup and I am thinking 6.5 cuft tuned to 32-33hz using two 6'' aeroports.

How does this sound? What do you guys think is best size and tuning wise for these subs?

tell him be careful with that amp. I was feeding mine 2-2500rms and they got stinky full tilt.

What is that box tuned to?

I want to do sub up, port back but if you guys think there is better solutions out there then I am game.

Max is 38'' wide/ 17'' tall/ 28'' deep.
