I thinking about going for somthing different, maybe 4th or 6th order bandpass if it will work in an Explorer with no back seats. not looking to wall it.

Subs: 4 Sx 18s

power: XXX 1000D @ 1 ohm

max deminsions: exterior

W: 42 inside wheel wells if built around them width is 52

L: 60

H:23

I doubt the 6th order would work well with those dimensions. The 4th order might if you can fit the subs properly. 4 cubes per 18 for the sealed chamber unless you are going to give them a lot of power, you could shrink that down some. That only leaves you with around 13-14 cubic feet left for the ported chamber and that's excluding all the other displacements. Make the ported chamber as big as possible then adjust the tuning to your liking. Any particular reason with going bandpass? To be honest, I don't see any gain from this bandpass than a ported enclosure. The front chamber needs to be much larger.

Goal is a loud daily I want to get into the 150s but thats a bonus if i do. This was just a idea i was seeing how big the enclosure would have to be. And as for power its soundstream XXX 10000d
