help with bad amp!!

ok well I touched my power wire to my old amp a while back and fried it, but since i work on gate operator circuit boards and because i had already opened up this amp once i decide to have a look at it, but i see nothing wrong no burn marks on the board no blown fuses or anything,

so i wanted to ask when an amp "burns up" what happens and how can u tell?? does anyone here work on their amps???

Id really like to fix this.
