ok well i built my box yesterday and it turned out great and the subs work and what not but now i changed the wiring and wired the pair to.5 ohm and its correct for sure, i checked it over and over and used a DMM checking the Ohm load

i run a vfl 200.1 and i have a green power light everything seems good but no output, i unhooked the RCA's from the amp and checked them and they are dead.. nothing going through em, they are new RCA's by the way

my other identical pair off a different output on the CD player to my highs amp is fine....

did i fry the CD player RCA outputs or something to the amplifier for my subs?

thanks if you can give me some idea's of what to do or try

I would first go threw thee setting in the HU to make sure the sub pre-outs are not shut off. then I would check the voltage on the back of the HU. If That isnt it your Hu may have gone bad.

yea, i started a thread on SMD so here is a update for here

i tried 3 different sets of RCA's in all 3 of my pre outs and they didnt even work in the one that IS still working for my highs amp

i hope my amps inputs didn't go bad

So you have a set of RCS cables that when plugged into all of your preamp outputs, they do not produce any signal? If that is what you are saying, it sounds like a bad set of cables. What type of HU is it?
