help with amp ground for sub box

Hi, noob here. first post about the yukon

Im hooking up a temporary power amp to use until my good amp gets here in the mail. I need to locate a good spot for the ground wire from the amp wiring kit.. do I just cut the carpet somewhere in the bed area and screw it to some metal in there somewhere? or can I mount the ground to say a tie-down strap from the bed( thats bolted to the chassy of the truck) or a bolt that holds the seat down or something?

temporarily it'll work. when you get the new amp, you ideally want to be bolted to the chassis, with the ring terminal touching bare metal.

make sure u sand away any paint, make it nice and clean
