Help with a ported box for my 15" L7

I got a kicker 15 L7 for 80 bucks and wanted to make a ported box for my truck. The only problem is i only have about 32 long 21 deep and 16 tall. Is this enough space to make it sound nice? Supposedly from some websites the box will be somewhere around 6 cubic feet.

I carefully measured where my box will go and got these numbers 35-width 22-depth 16-height. Plugged in those numbers to the app(its free now), and it jumped from 4.2 to 4.7. Not sure if .50 cubic feet is a lot but im assuming it helps right?

Go round ports instead. you'll get 5 cubes which is pretty acceptable for a 15 L7. Basically build a square box and cut the hole for the sub and cut a hole for the sonotube and glue the sonotube to the box. Make sure the box actually slides into the car right.

How would you do that? Lol Do i just make a hole and put in a pipe? How big does the pvc pipe has to be if the box will be 22inch front to back
look at the picture. it says port diameter, port length and I even linked what you needed to buy.

Cut a precise hole, wood glue that sonotube port to it, sand the opening smooth and viola you are done.
