help with a chevy

about every 6000 miles i have to replace the #5 plug because it has filed out because it looks like it is burning oil. could this end up being a major problem, the motor is a 5.0l 305 1996 chevy.

Can you see the oil on the plug when you pull it out or you just noticed it is burning oil by checkn the stick?

if there is oil on the plug then you need (A) a head job. (B) new rings but we can not just tell you what is wrong with out more info

If I were you, I wouldn't be asking these kinds of questions on a car audio forum...

I would take it to a trustworthy mechanic for a diagnosis.

yea if we decided to buy it we would but my dad just said he is not gonna get t.

Try changing the PCV valve, my car was burning a quart of oil between oil changes... fixed it in 5 minutes, and costs like 4 bucks for the part. My mpgs went up, as well as power in acceleration, and it idles smoother.
