I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY A GOOD CAPACITOR, PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH THE SPECS AND THE BRAND , ALSO SOME PRICES TO SEE WHAT SHOULD I GET , PLEASE GIVE ME SOME GOOD ADVICE WITH A GOOD CAPACITOR , I HAVE SEEN 1.0 , 1.3 , 1.5 AND I DONT KNOW WATS THE DIFFERENCE , THANKS GUYS

Audiobahn, they may be more expensive, but they are totally better than all the other caps made! And get like 5 of them, and don't bother charging them when you get them, that's a myth...

honda guy: how many peak watts are you running? get a capacitor that has 1 farad per 1 watt. Sony Xplod Peak 1100 watts, you need to get the capacitor that holds 1100 farad. Go with the digital ones, they have all those hot l.e.d.'s on them that match your l.e.d. exhaust tip!!

seriously though, dont spend the money on a cap. save it for a better batt and then a better alt. for now, upgrade big three and do some research.

Get a cap with the lowest ESR, that is the rating of how fast the capacitor can discharge its stored current.

But if your lights are already dimming, adding a capacitor will only make the problem worse.
