Help with 7 band equlizer!!!

I need to know how to install a 7 band equlizer i got 2 different wire hook ups for it but i got it from someone who never had it installed and i have no directions can anyone help me??? thanks

if im not mistaken tap into ur 12v , ground and remote behind the radio then rca out from h.u to rca in on the eq then rca out sub to rca in on sub anp and rca's from back of the eq for the front and back speakers go to the amp for those speakers

thanks..... but im not sure i got rca's on the eq. but just inputs no outputs....so can they still be used on my subs??? But the plug for the speaker input is just well it looks like to me 4 sets of speaker wire so im just not sure witch is witch but i tried to match some of them up with the ones coming from my deck... n i had power to it and everything but it just made some weird noise n my deck wouldnt come on? what is the cause of that?
