help with 07 tahoe install

I put in a Pioneer 2400, Alpine MRX F35 4 channel amp, Polk Audio DB comps. I tried grounding the amp to the floor board and to a rear seat bolt but I still get alternator whine. Whats next, to the frame underneath?

I also had static when the engine was not running. It seems as that was the RCA's I was using. They were brand new kickers from BB. Gonna get some different ones.

Also the GMOS 100 is not recognizing the vehicle. The LED just keeps flashing and if I touch any buttons on the radio it seems to randomly control the radio so i have to unplug the swc from out the back of the radio.

sounds like a bad GMOS. they aren't the most well made pieces...
