HELP!!! What amp to get?

So I am struggling picking out an amp. I have an fi.q 12" sub with dual 1ohm voice coils.

I need a new amp bad mine is cutting out and is about to go. So I am trying to get the best amp for the money. I have narrowed it down to 6 amps which one is the best deal.

Precision Power s1300.1d for $230

Alpine MRP-M1000 for $270

JL Audio G-Max for $300

MMATS M1000.2D for $335

ARC Audio FD1200.1 for $399

All of these amps meet the power requirements I need to push my sub. I am sure that none of them are bad amps. I just am trying to find out which one will give me the most bang for the buck.

That's kind of hard to do a single sub with dual 1's because your wiring options are .5 or 2 ohms. That might be why your amp is about to go if you wired it a .5 ohm. I'd get a 1500w amp or an amp that does 1000 at 2 ohms and run that.

That is what I did. I have it wired at a 2ohm load. My current amp is supposed to be stable down to 1ohm. The problem is my current amp is a power acoustik BAMF amp. According to the people around here they are not meant to push big subs.\

I know how to wire everything up. My question was which amp is the best deal?

with the price range of your selected amps why not look at some others like mb quartz dsc series..or audiopipe ...both have proven themselves to be AWESOME buget amps!!

yep get an AP1500 or MB quart dsc1500. They're cheap and make rated power.

the most expensive amp is usually the best thats why they cost more because they are made better with better parts

with in the options you gave i, myself would get the Alpine MRP-M1000

Thanks. I am kind of leaning toward the MMAT amp. My main reason is because they are a competition quality amp. I made a deal with someone to get it for 335 brand new. What do you guys think of MMAT. My second choice was the alpine amp. But audiopipe and MB quart are both entry level amps which I want to avoid.

I heard MMAT amps are awesome? Never heard one myself though.

I think you should take the Hifonics off the list then.

Thanks for the offer Tricked_Out. It is actually a great deal I might know a few people that are interested. I am just not a fan of kicker. I am also trying to stay away from store brand. Which is why i am leaning away from alpine and jl a little. They are all good amps though.

As of now I am debating between in order the MMAT, JL, And Alpine. What do you guys think?
