i can help you out as far as purchases go? dc sound lab makes good subs. how about a couple 12's? maybe some level 4s off a sundown 1500d? research that stuff. go to youtube as well and look at those products. i personally have never heard 15s in an extended cab, which is what i am trying out. but i have heard 12's and in a tacoma they would work very well

First you need to establish a budget and your goals. Talking about particular equipment is useless until these first two items are defined.

How much do you have to spend?

And what are you looking to achieve? Just something to fill in the bass response that sounds good but is not overbearing and blends well with the rest of the music? Or something that will rattle your eyeballs out of their sockets? How much space are you willing to sacrifice for this?

Once you've defined your budget and your goals, you can start narrowing your search to specific products. You'll want to make sure your budget includes enough //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif for wiring, wiring accessories (fuse blocks, connectors, etc), installation (if you're not able to do it yourself) and a quality enclosure for the subwoofer at minimum. Some $$ for sound deadening would be helpful as well.

Also, keep in mind power can not be created from nothing. Don't expect to be able to throw a 2000w amp in your Tacoma with a stock electrical system and achieve optimal results.....it's not going to happen.

That amp sucks. Stay away from Lanzer unless it's the Opti series, and even then.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

2x on what Squeak said.

Remember that usually 99.9% of the time you get what you pay for.

If you buy a cheap amp then it will probably have cheap internal parts that won't last you as long as if you bought a more expensive amp.

Good luck

x3 on Squeak
