Help w/ taking out H/U

My friends HU doesnt work and i want to take out the HU but i also dont want to break anything..

the problem is, i dont know how to take it out, its "clipped" into the middle console.

it was a civic hatchback, i figured how to take it out..

i just got a flathad and push the brackets in and slip it out..
