Help w/ designing for 2 Tang Band 8's in single cab truck

I'm designing a box (or attempting to) for my friend's single cab Colorado with 2 tang band 8's. Never worked with 8's before, and I've done some searching but can't come up with any good info. on what size to make the box or what frequency to port the subs at. I'll be throwing about 200 watts RMS to each. We have plenty of room to work with (40 or more inches wide, about 12-14 inches high and anywhere from 7 to 10 inches deep). Should I put the port to the side or facing the front of the box? Help would be greatly appreciated... thanks.

i think 1.2 ported at anywhere from 38-40 htz would be nice...port and subs forward
