Help, Volume Faids In and Out

I have a Pioneer AVIC-F900BT installed in my 2007 Chevy Silverado with OnStar, without Bose using a PAC OS-3 adapter. I just added a Pioneer XM tuner. A few days later, the sound began to fade in and out while I drove. The audio is fine when parked or sitting at a light.

Anyone have any ideas what may be causing the problem? The only thing I tapped into for the XM tuner was the power, therefore I am assuming there is a problem with the PAC OS-3. I have ordered a new one, but just in case that is not the problem, any suggestions??? Thanks in advance.
