Help upgrading alpine 7873

Ive had my headunit for a little over 2 yrs and its done just about everything i need but the lack of mp3 capability is unbearable now that i have over 4000songs and can only put about 15 to a cd.

My requirments are at least 4volt preouts, mp3 capability, remote and to be easy to use. ive done some research and was leaning towards the alpine 7998 or 9835, i love alpine but have read nothing but positive reviews about eclipse and wouldnt mind something diferent. My budget is roughly 300$ and i dont mind buying used or ebay. any suggestions? thanks

Alpine would be great for you, why not? perhaps an eclipse cd8454 would fit aswell... but you would have to go for an used one (as you would if you want a 9835 or a 7998)
