help tune my port at least 35

i build a kicker recomended box on the kicker L7 pdf manual the S12L7 box vented-250 u can download it on kicker.com the L7 tech manual u can see the box design the box is tuned 38Hz i want it to be around 35 or lower pls really need your help they say this forum is the best all around the web thanksin advance

You need either 1) Longer port length or 2) Lesser port area. It would take me ages to find the PDF of Kicker's web site, but what I just told you are general rules for doing what you want to do. The second option would probably be best, for DD. If it says 30sq inches of port, like a 2" X 15" slot, just do a 1.75" x 15" slot to get where you want.

How is the port made? Slotted, or with a tube stuck in the box?
