Help!! Time to replace my Sony CDX-C90 (remember those)

As you can see I haven't bought a head unit in over 10 years, but the display on my C90 has gotten so bad I can't even see to make any adjustments. But the sq is still phenomenal.

So my question or questions are what other head units will sound similar? Have burr brown dac's and not break he bank. I don't really want to pay as much as I did for the sony wich was $800. $600 or would be my limit. I know I won't get dual burr brown dac's for that price but I want at least one 24 bit dac as I'm told that is the biggest reason for the awesome sq of the CDX-C90.

I'm not entirely sure if it's 24 bit burr-brown or another type of 24 bit processor, but I know that the Eclipse 7200 mkII, Alpine CDA-9887 and CDA-9886, and numerous Pioneer Premier headunits have burr-brown processors. All are less than 600 bucks.

I'm probably going to hang on to it in the hopes of finding another face for it somewhere. I've been looking the past month or so without much luck. But if the price is right I'll sell anything!!

I have a Mobile ES Sony CDX-C7850 and that same EQ with changer and joystick remote...I'm pretty sure the C90 is a better unit though....

Yah, that old stuff was insane. Do you have the Sony XDP-210EQ along with it? That'd be a insane setup if you had them together.

No I had the chance when I bought the head 10 yrs ago!! I'm kicking myself in the butt now.
