help rca cables making subs distorted

please help im running 4 10inch kicker comp cvr off of a 1200 2ch amp but have the subs wired to run on a 2ch amp but when i plug both rca cables in they sound very quite and just making anoying vibrations that dont stop but when i only hook up one cable 2 subs will work and they thump

any ideas please help

how exactly did you wire your subs?

if you ran all the wires of the amp like the power, speakers, remote and rca in the same route, then thats the reason. you need to route the rca on the opposite side of the car leading up to the same destination

i tried using new rca wires n unpluged the old ones n just ran them from outside my car and the same problem occured

I had this problem, and fixed it just a couple days ago. Is it a pioneer head unit?

I had to ground the outer ring on the rca's to the chassis of the radio. Let me try to find a pic.

*Edit. Reread your first post, and realized your having your iisue with a 2 channel amp. Like other have said, it sounds like you have something out of phase, and your canceling things out. Watch out because things get hot very quick when you wire things out of phase.
