Help!!!rca Cable Question

I need help here...Ok i ahve a choice to make and i need u guys' experttise here. the cheaper one. just get some shielded RCA's and you're set. I can't tell the difference between walmart rca's and the streetwires zeronoise 2.0's i have now (I got a good deal on em, though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif)

i got two sets of the zero noise 2.0 on ebay for 12$.

Ok i have been browsing this site and steetwires is mentioned alot.that means its a brand i can trust is that correct?wow 4.95 w/o shipping on ebay for a set of 3.6 meter rca's.Thats a pretty good deal. So then RCA cable is all the same pretty much is all your saying as long as it has shields?

That is correct. Just be sure that whichever set(s) you go with are shielded well. Usually they say something about being double-shielded, heavy-shielded, or the like. I think you get the point. Hope this helps!

agreed. cheaper ones. most all rca's are shielded these days anyways

Most of the more knowledge people in the industry and hobby that I have ran across prefer and recommend UTP [unshielded twisted pair] as opposed to shielded...and usually advise against shielded.

Richard Clark and David Navone, for example, have done many tests and had many technical posts over on CarSound as to why.....

But, whatever...doubtful you'll notice an audible difference in noise either way.
