K so i was swappin a deck in my 2000 chevy 1500 today and one of the power wires was shorted so i ran a new one from the batt to the deck and after im done with the install none of my indash lights work my speedometor

You probably have your wires crossed and are hooking your dimmer into the antenna or something dumb like that.

or knocked some wires off ur dash.

or you shorted your paower wire and it also powered the dash. i think thats how it works..... have fun its a good thing there fairly easy to take apart.

something tells me he exchanged a blown fuse. he didnt answer when someone posted asking if he checked his fuses.....hm........curious very curious
