So I have a 99 Audi A4 and I just put in some kicker speakers and they kinda sound lame sometimes. Is that because I need something other than the stock amp and maybe an actual sub as oppossed to the car using a couple mids as the subs?

So what I'm planning on is a 10" sub and a 650 amp for everything, for now, so would a new battery also be something to throw into the equation?

^^^x2 doing the big 3 + new batt up front(Kinetik 1400, Optima Yellow top, etc) isn't expensive and will be the basis for any kind of system you'll have in the future.
