Help Please

I want to hook up the neons I have in my trunk up differently. Now they are run to my amp power and their own switch in the trunk. Is there any possible way for me to hook then up to the trunk light so they only come on when the trunk is open?

Any opions please.

Run a relay off your switched trunk lighting, and power the neons that way?

Power wire to where?

You have a light in the trunk? Why not tie into the power from it and then ground it somewhere.

My thoughts exactly...though a relay would help protect the stock wiring from overloading, and who knows how that's fused.
