Wait a sec...you bought an alt w/o knowing if it will fit your vehicle or not? A lot of times when people sell alts, they will list the vehicles/years/models they will fit and work.

LOl! I gave the truck to my brother, and I know this fits other engines, but not sure which ones. I messaged Mike, and he said he can look up the invoice, if I can find the original owner. I did this deal probably a year or more ago...

I believe the original owner bought it for a small Chevy sedan (either 4 or 6 cyl). At the time, I had a GMC Sonoma (4.3 V6). He asked Mike if it would work on my 4.3, and it would have with longer mounting bolts.
Now, I’m hoping it will work on a 5.3 V8, and I’d like to know how many amps it is.
