why would you do a think like that???

just get a new amp, ive got to tell you... i wouldnt pay more that 5 bucks for that amp. I bought a 400wrms amp for 7 bucks at a swap meet. i suggest you find a new amp.

it was hooked up like that when i bought the system. im getting a rockford fosgate r500.1 when i get a new job.

i would think about another amp, the 500.1 only does 320rms@4ohms.

no, no, no.... you have a dual voice coil sub. a dual voice coil that is 2 ohms (each coil is 2ohms and 250rms a piece) . so look at this diagram

with one sub you can only wire it to 1 ohm or 4 ohms, NOT 2 ohms
