wiring odd number of subs????

how do you shop for a amp if you need to power 3 subs? if they dual 1 you can wire them to .67 or 1.5 or 6. d2's are 1.34 or 3 or 12ohms. would u run them on a 1 or 2ohm amp for most power (without clip/damage) daily? thx

what subs? what kind of electrical are you running.

finding an amp that will do the power you need at .67 or 1.5 will be a lot cheaper than 6 ohms

i understand that. but say u needed 3k rms and had a electrical thats up to par (2 g31s and a ho alt and 1/0 everywhere) what amp would u be lookin for to give best power without problms? and which would u rather use the d2s or the d1s?
