Help Please Urgent!

Hello all,

I have an Audiovox AV1510D Dvd/cd player with 7" screen and a 2004 dodge neon. I have installed it into the car and everythin works fine except that when i try to play a dvd there is a blue screen that says parking on it and i cant see the movie but can hear it. So i was wondering what i need to to do to fix it. The wiring harness doesnt have a wire for the brake but the audiovox does. so i was wondering what i need to connect the pink brake wire to to get the video to show on the screen. Also i would like to know if there is a way to wire it up so that the video will play without the car being parked. But will settle for park. I just wont to get the video playing right now. Thank you for any and all help you are able to give.

ground the "parking brake" wire

should do it

now when you say ground it what do you mean? cause i tryed crimping it to the extra ground black wire that was on the harness and it didnt seem to work.

ground it solidly, not to just another wire in the harness.

pick a spot, sand it down, and connect it

its his money, let him be stupid with it. cant get any worse than it already is. even new cars are coming with LCD screens in the dash.

not lcd's that show video, just nav and sometimes heater controls.radio controls.

find the neutral safety switch in your harness and splice the park wire into it. And yes, you will only be able to watch them in park. **** retards.

I had a different unit, and all i had to do is ground the park wire (think it was broun). Ground it to the chasis. Worked fine parked or doing 100MPH.
